New 4 Week Community Mindfulness Course at Peckham Levels

Every Sunday this July…

This July we are putting on a special 4-week Intro to Mindfulness Meditation Course at Peckham Levels, in a space gratefully offered to us by the amazing people at Make Shift (the folk behind Pop Brixton and Peckham Levels)! We’re super excited as this is something we’ve been working on at Levitate HQ for a while. The programme will cover everything you need to know to get started on a mindfulness practice.

Even more exciting - we are offering this course as a pay what you want programme. That means that whilst we would love you to donate something at the end of each class, we also welcome with open arms anyone who can’t afford to do so. We want to reach as many people as possible. Bring your friends! You can sign up for tickets to this here.

everything you need to know:

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

  • This course is designed for absolute mindfulness beginners, and those wishing to deepen their practice. It will be an intimate (small class size) and interactive introduction to the science of stress and meditation, the techniques of mindfulness, and the benefits to your everyday life.

  • Expect each session to follow a different theme, giving you the ideas and history, but most importantly practical techniques that you can use in your daily life, at work, in your relationships and in each moment. You will grow your ability to manage stress, and increase your resilience, compassion, and focus.

THIS CLASS TAKES PLACE IN PECKHAM LEVELS:

  • For the month of July we are lucky enough to have a space at Peckham Levels every Sunday.

  • Class will be in the community meeting room on level six of the converted multistorey carpack

  • Definitely don't go to our usual studio at Yogarise in the Bussey Building!

  • If you have any problems finding us, just call Ryan on 07935799545 or reception on 020 30261038

DO I NEED TO TAKE ALL 4 CLASSES?

  • Meditation takes practice. To get the most out of it you should plan to come to all 4 classes.

  • However, life gets busy, and so for this course only, you can drop in for single classes (or skip a couple if you need to).

  • The more you attend the further you can hope to progress, but whichever classes you come to will cover the basics of meditation whilst also building on what we have learnt before.

WHAT DOES IT COST?

WHEN DOES IT TAKE PLACE?

  • Every Sunday of July (7th, 14th, 21st, 28th) from 16:30-17:30
