I am very thrilled to announce a new chapter in the partnership between Levitate and The Collective.
The Collective is an innovative co-living project which is already in New York and London, with more cities and buildings opening soon. They offer longer and shorter stay co-living options in their campuses, with residents being able to stay from one night to one year.
A key part of the Collective’s offering (on top of their rooms, concierges, gyms, coworking spaces etc) is their events programme, which is always free to residents/members. Wellness and self-care are really central to the events programming, and this comes across each time we visit. The mantra “be more together“ is borne out by everything they do.
Since January this year, we have been doing a monthly Self Care Sunday meditation session at The Collective Old Oak (in North West London). Old Oak is a long-stay co-living space, with 500 residents, an enviable canal-side location, incredible facilities, roof terraces, and comfy bedrooms to retreat to after a day of work and play. On a personal level I have hugely enjoyed getting to know some of the talented residents and sharing in a little of their lives and dreams for the future.
Excitingly, the Collective are on the cusp of opening a second London location in Canary Wharf. While they put the finishing touches to the building, they have invited Levitate to put on some meditative Self Care Sundays in their gorgeous events spaces in their HQ at Bedford Square.
In July we explored the science of stress, the benefits of mindfulness, and the essential techniques. In the next sessions we’ll spend more time with guided meditation, ensuring that participants are able to drop in, let go of any worries, and then float out feeling totally refreshed.
Exclusively for Levitators, I’m thrilled to offer some free tickets for the next event, which is this Sunday 11th August. Tickets are currently on sale here (or by clicking the poster to the right of this text).
To get free access, download the FEVER app on your phone, go to your profile and use code LEVITATE100 before then booking a ticket to the event (and applying the voucher at check out).
I hope to see some of you there, but do also check out the events programme at the Collective, because they offer everything from stand up comedy, to sound baths, so there really is something for everyone.
