Our Terms & Conditions
(don’t get caught in the rain!)
Before your first visit:
Class Arrival Time
Please ensure you arrive 5-10 minutes minutes before the advertised start time. This will allow us to greet you, answer any questions and get you settled in.
Directions
Unless otherwise stated, our in-person classes take place at Levitate Brockley, 3 Sprules Road, London SE4 2NL. For detailed directions and maps, or to speak to us on the phone/WhatsApp, please view the contact section of this website.
What to Wear
We don’t offer changing facilities.
Wear clothes you feel comfortable sitting cross-legged in (short skirts aren’t ideal but we can offer you a blanket). Tracksuit bottoms, yoga, jeans, comfortable trousers, or casual clothes would work perfectly, but lots of people come in work gear straight from the office.
Sitting/lying still can feel chilly. We recommend having a few layers so that you can adjust to the temperature of the studio.
Studio etiquette:
Timekeeping
All classes will start at the time advertised. You must arrive before the session starts.
If you are running late, or in danger of missing the class, please let us know. We can often send you a link to join via Zoom instead.
If you arrive more than a couple of minutes late and the class is already underway, please be aware that the teacher will generally will be unable to disrupt the class to answer the door. We know this sucks, but it is fairest for the clients who are already meditating in the room, and we wholeheartedly apologise for the inconvenience. If this is you, please knock quietly once, drop us a WhatsApp message to let us know you are at the door, and finally leave quietly if no one has answered and the class is clearly underway.
In the Practice Area
Please take off your shoes and turn off your phone before entering the room.
All cushions, mats and props are provided. No other equipment is necessary.
We’d love it if you wanted to feature the space on Instagram or social media at the beginning or end of the session, however, we kindly also ask that your mobile is on airplane mode when class starts.
If you are able, please help your teacher by folding and storing your cushions/mats/blankets after your class.
Lost & Found
All students are responsible for their own belongings. We have no lockable storage, though the front door is locked before each class begins and the space is secure. We recommend keeping valuables with you.
Please contact help@levitate.london if you think you might have left something at the studio. All items left behind will be stored for a month, before being donated to charity if left unclaimed.
Classes:
General
Unused or partially used memberships, class packs and passes purchased at the studio or online are non-refundable.
Intro Offers
Intro Offers are valid for new customers only. Once you have purchased any class or intro offer you are no longer considered a new customer. If you have questions, please enquire with reception (help@levitate.london) BEFORE booking your first class.
Activation
All class packs, coaching packs and memberships activate on the date of first sale.
Booking and Waitlists
We strongly recommend that you book your class in advance as we have a limited number of spaces. If the class is fully booked you can join the waitlist by emailing us at help@levitate.london.
We will contact you immediately if a space becomes available.
Cancellation
If you booked a class but can no longer attend, you must cancel the class.
Please cancel booked classes up to 24 hours before the class start time. Your class purchase will then be transferable to another class in the future.
If you cancel after the 24 hour cancellation window or do not show up for a class that you have booked, your class credit will be deducted.
Monthly members, if you do not show up to a booked class (meaning that someone else potentially misses the chance to attend), a charge of £15, or the standard price for a drop-in ticket, whichever is greater, will be added to your account.
Credit on account or refund will be provided if a class is cancelled by the studio.
Memberships/Subscriptions:
Our memberships are designed to offer unbeatable savings. They are available in monthly and annual subscriptions.
Subscriptions renew automatically, and payments are automatically collected at the start of each membership interval. You will receive a confirmation email every time the payment is taken.
Before each payment, you will also receive a reminder email 7 days in advance of the renewal date (as a prompt in case you would like to cancel).
You can cancel your membership any time and enjoy use of it until the end of the last payment period. However, to avoid unwanted payments, you must cancel at least one calendar day before the membership renews.
Memberships are non-refundable. We cannot offer refunds for subscriptions that you have forgotten to cancel.
We want you to get lots out of your membership. If you have any questions, or wish to discuss your membership, please speak to the team at hello@levitate.london and we will be on hand to help.
Workshops/Courses:
All workshops and courses purchased at the studio or online are non-refundable.
Credit on account at Levitate can be given if workshop/course is sold out and there is a wait list.
Credit on account or refund will be provided if the workshop is cancelled by the studio.
If you would like to give your space on a workshop to someone else, please call and email us with their name, details and email in CC, so that we can update the records and to ensure they have signed the waiver.
Retail:
We do not offer refunds for physical and digital items purchased in-person or online, unless they are faulty, not as described or do not do what they are supposed to do.
If an item arrives faulty, not as described, or in unusable condition, please contact us at help@levitate.london and we will offer you options of refund, exchange or credit on account.
Health Waiver:
By booking or participating in our activities, you are understood to have read and agreed to our health waiver at www.levitate.london/waiver.
