Location: Remote with the ability to work from Market Peckham a day a week
Salary: National Minimum Wage (varies by age)
Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday-Friday, flexible

Job Description
One of the most exciting brands in health and wellness is looking for a hardworking, kind and ambitious self-starter, with a passion for wellbeing, to join our team. Levitate is a fast-growing meditation and wellbeing company, which has already helped over a thousand people learn to meditate, and works with clients including Google, ClearScore and Space NK to help them find calm in a chaotic world.
Although your primary focus will be sales and marketing, there will be opportunities to get stuck into every aspect of the business. For the right candidate this will be an exciting opportunity to gain incredible inside experience of the challenges and joys of running a startup.
Levitate was set up by our founder Reinhart (Ryan) Nell. Ryan has almost 20 years of experience in communications, marketing, social enterprise, and now wellbeing. For much of this time, he worked for some of the world’s largest advertising agencies, creating campaigns for global brands. He also worked with humanitarian and development clients including the United Nations, the EU, the World Bank and more. Ryan brings a wealth of experience, talent and creativity to the organisation, and a major attraction of this role will be mentorship from Ryan throughout, and potentially beyond, the initial 6 month placement.
Job Responsibilities
Sales:
Making a shortlist of dream target clients for us to approach.
Using LinkedIn, networking and web searches to identify the right people to speak to.
Getting hold of emails and numbers for these key people.
Making first contact, building and maintaining relationships with future clients.
Managing the sales pipeline, and proactively updating the team on progress.
Looking for opportunities for repeat business, partnerships and growth.
Marketing:
Creating and managing a social media calendar for Levitate.
Drafting and designing social posts, to review and post on our channels.
Managing social giveaways and polls, and scheduling and booking people to join for our Instagram Lives and interviews.
Monitoring social comments from our audience, and getting involved in and encouraging those conversations.
Designing flyers and posters.
Organising and publicising a regular virtual workshop series for HR/wellbeing people.
Helping to create a series of emails to welcome people on board after they sign up.
Maintaining the Levitate blog, creating regular newsletters and working with partners to produce and schedule our blog and newsletter content.
Encouraging customer reviews and referrals to help us reach new audiences.
Keeping track of other wellbeing brands, and applying best practices when possible.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Experience:

Experience in sales or marketing would be a plus.

About Us
Levitate is a meditation and wellbeing startup. Our mission is to lift minds, bodies and spirits. Everything we do is designed to provide everyday enlightenment. We do this by offering jargon-free mediation, breathwork and movement classes and events to individuals and companies. Levitate was born from the simple idea that mindfulness is best practiced together, hence our mantra: Let’s rise together.
During the pandemic we pivoted from face-to-face delivery to virtual. We also grew what we deliver, adding on-demand classes and bringing in other coaches to widen our offering from meditation to wellbeing activities like pilates, yoga, and breathwork. As we start in-person events once more, we are rebuilding our corporate client base, whilst continuing to serve our remote clients. To fulfil our mission to lift more people up, we have an ambitious sales goal to grow our corporate wellbeing services, and you will play a vital role in helping the founder achieve this.

So what exactly is the Kickstart Scheme?
This job is offered as part of the Department of Work and Pensions Kickstart scheme (follow this link for details).
The scheme provides unemployed young people who are in receipt of Universal Credit, the opportunity for 25 hours paid work a week over 6 months.
